Architecture & Urban Planning students are empowered to engage in real-world problem-solving while also inventing approaches to projects yet to be imagined. Our expert faculty includes accomplished architects, planners and scholars who create a dynamic culture of creative inquiry. Strong connections with future employers, many of whom are alumni, provide opportunities to build a professional network, including externships, interview days, mentoring and more. Acclaimed architects from around the world bring expertise to Milwaukee as guest faculty who lead studios that drive positive change in our local communities. All that, combined with robust facilities and technologies, positions our students to take action on climate change, alternative transportation, affordable housing and equitable food access, among other global issues.
