An area of undergraduate excellence, UWM's Honors College fosters a close-knit, supportive community that emphasizes academic achievement, scholarly inquiry and critical thinking. With a strong focus on effective reading, writing and speaking, Honors students develop the skills necessary to excel in their academic and professional careers.
Students from all majors can enrich their education by integrating Honors courses into their degree plans. These small, discussion-based seminars span the arts, humanities, social sciences and natural sciences. Students earn their Honors College Degree or Honor College Degree with Distinction—the highest undergraduate distinction at UWM.
