What is 414 for UWM Giving Days? 414 for UWM Giving Days is the university's annual giving event, held April 13-14, 2026, in conjunction with the city's official "Milwaukee Day" holiday. By investing in UWM, you are investing in the future of Milwaukee...and beyond! 414 for UWM is for Panther alumni, students, faculty, staff and friends to join together to show their support for the university we love, and the city we call home.  

What is the Panther Pathways Scholarship Fund? The Panther Pathways Scholarship Fund provides talented students with the financial support they need, ensuring that every student has access to an outstanding education at UWM.  

How else can I participate? Whether you are a proud alum, current student, faculty or staff member or a Panther at heart, there are a variety of ways to get involved! We invite you to sign up as a 414 for UWM Giving Days advocate to help spread the word – on social, via email and after you give! After you sign up as an advocate, you will have access to social posts, hashtags and a custom giving link!  

Can I use my donor-advised fund (DAF) to make a gift for 414 for UWM? Yes! You can make a DAF gift directly through the platform—just click any “Give” button on the site to get started.

Can I use a qualified charitable IRA distribution or stock transfer to make a gift for 414 for UWM? What is your tax ID? Yes! The UWM Foundation tax ID is 23-7337744. Given the time it can take to process this type of gift, please email advance@uwm.edu so we can provide a pledge form and help ensure your gift counts toward the campaign.

Can I make a 414 for UWM gift using faculty and staff payroll deduction? Yes! You can make a one-time, scheduled, or recurring gift to the UWM Foundation through the payroll deduction form. UWM employees who make gifts between now and April 15 will automatically be counted toward the 414 for UWM Days of Giving. Please note that Advocacy contributions cannot be attributed through payroll deduction.
